Yevheniia Viacheslavivna Koshara has worked at ELITVET since 2014. Over more than ten years of practice, she has developed a comprehensive approach to examining and treating dogs and cats. Her main professional focus is veterinary ophthalmology, which she combines with general consultations, ultrasound diagnostics and surgical practice.

Yevheniia Viacheslavivna sees patients with eye conditions, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal ulcers, uveitis and glaucoma. She performs ophthalmic examinations, determines which diagnostic tests are needed and prescribes non-surgical treatment. In every case, she considers both the condition of the eye and the animal’s overall well-being.

In general practice, she treats gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic diseases, as well as infectious and systemic conditions. She helps patients with foreign bodies and acute urinary retention. She performs ultrasound examinations of the abdominal organs and urinary system, interprets laboratory results, develops treatment plans and evaluates their effectiveness.

In 2014, she graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian and Economic University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She continually develops her knowledge of ophthalmology, internal medicine and ultrasound diagnostics, keeping up with advances in the examination and treatment of small companion animals.

In her work, Yevheniia Viacheslavivna aims to identify the cause of disease and choose treatment suited to each patient’s needs. She pays attention to detail during examinations, explains the findings to owners and discusses the next steps with them. She considers mutual understanding between the veterinarian and the owner essential to consistent treatment.
